Product Details

He is often shown wearing a yellow silk dhoti and peacock feather crown. Common depictions show him as a little boy or as a young man in a characteristic relaxed pose, playing the flute. In this form, he usually stands with one leg bent in front of the other and raises a flute to his lips, emphasizing his position as the divine herdsman, Govinda, or with the gopis (milkmaids). It's a colorful ''Pattachitra" painting that means two cotton clothes are pasted by the tamarind paste & later it was painted by the natural stone color. Due to the use of natural stone color the images are even seen in the darkness. This painting is a traditional painting but we should try to find the real fine art of Orissa Craftsman.
