Product Details

Originated in Gujarat, garba is similar to Social Dancing. The literal meaning of Graba is inside the earthenware lamp. It comes from the Sanskrit word Garba Deep. It is performed during Navratris - the nine auspicious nights - wherein the Goddess Ambaji is worshipped. Here this painting depicts a Man with a 'Dhol' doing 'Garba' dance. Amazingly crafted this painting in colage base to give a different look. Collage, which is derived from the French word "coller" meaning glue, is an art of attaching substances of different types, shapes, sizes, colors and textures to a base to form a piece of art.
