Product Details

A beautiful as well as unique painting of lord Shiva in the incarnation of Ardhnarishwar. Ardhnarishwar means God in form of Half Male & Half Female. When lord Shiva half body is a compilation of his wife Parvati then this incarnation of thelord is called Ardhnarishwar. The male body is holding dumroo & trishul with snake in his neck along with nandi ji sitting below while the other half of the body is of Maa Parvati the Hindu deity with her lion sitting beneath. A perfect blend of fine art in the form of painting with a beautiful border work at the edges. It's a ''Pattachitra" painting that means two cotton clothes are pasted by the tamarind paste & later it was painted by the natural stone color. Due to the use of natural stone color the images are even seen in the darkness. This painting is a traditional painting but we should try to find the real fine art of Orissa Craftsman.
